Can't wait for summer!

I am sooooo excited that summer is right around the corner. There are just so many reasons to be excited... girls are out of school, I am DONE with school, the weather is going to be warmer (hopefully if it will ever stop raining), we are going to the Beach with my parents, Court and I are going on an ALONE (KID FREE) trip to Cabo, etc..., etc... I just love summer time and I especially LOVE summer in Utah, the weather here in the summer is perfect!

Last night Court and I brainstromed some fun things we can do here in Utah this summer. We will be taking our family trip to California and Court and I's trip to Cabo in June since that is the last month I can travel (really CAN NOT believe I am SIX months pregnant already!!!). So other then our 2 trips we will be home all summer. I am excited to be a stay-at-home mom again and get to take the kids on some fun summer adventures. Our neighborhood is just BURSTING with kids, which is so great because anytime they are board the can just walk right outside and find someone to play with :).

I am REALLY starting to LOVE where we live. I wasn't sure if I would EVER be able to say that because moving back to Utah was such a hard transition for me. We have an amazing, fun, friendly ward (church congregation) and I really believe for me that is what has turned my attitude around and helped me to grow to love it here. PLUS I really love the area that we moved to. We can WALK to 4 different parks, a spray park, the rec-center, the library, and the girls school. With all that we have to do right by our house my goal is to drive as little as possible this summer, we'll save money on gas and be healthier walking and riding our bikes!!

Our yard is pretty tiny, but I am hoping to find a fun little swing set and maybe a little playhouse for the kids to enjoy this summer. Since we have so many parks close by I think I am just going to look for one that has JUST swings. Hopefully I can find a good deal. We told the kids that we were going to start saving up for these and decided it would be a good learning experience to have them do extra chores around the house to help pay for them. So we'll see how this goes ;)

So close I can almost taste it...

ONLY 70 hours to go until I graduate!!! WOW am I excited. I can't believe I only have about two weeks left of school. I am very happy with my decision to go back to school and do something that I LOVE. It sure hasn't been an easy road. Originally I started school in Kansas City (over 2 years ago), ended up having to move 5 months later, moved back to Utah, transfered to Taylor Andrews Academy, then in January we moved to Salt Lake County and I had to transfer yet again to a different TA campus. I would have loved to start and finish in one place, but I am just so grateful I was able to finish.

I have heard all the "beauty school" jokes, but let me tell you it sure isn't as easy as it sounds (2,000 hours is a LONGGGGG TIME)!!! I have worked my booty off and have recieved an excellent education. I have really loved attending Taylor Andrews and have LOVED the opportunities for business classes, hands on classes, guest speakers, and so on. I really feel like I have gotten a well-rounded education and have really gotten to know myself better in the process too.

WAHOOOO for only 2 more weeks! What will I do with all my free time ;)?
